I would like to thank all the parents and other who have helped me though the rough college admissions process. I was in a completely new situation without much support and many people here on CC helped guide me through the process. People like @MYOS1634 and other deserve praise for what they contribute to this community and the amount of support they give to many high school seniors, who aren’t giving the information they need from parents or guidance counselors. I would like to thank all those who helped me so much without asking for anything in return. @MYOS1634, @xraymancs, @intparent, @SaphireNY, and @mom2collegekids, I would like thank each and every single one of you for helping guide me; I don’t know what I could do to repay you. @SaphireNY I was still able to apply to Penn State and UPitt after being placed on waitlists by 4 schools. I was accepted by both and was planning on attending UPitt with good financial aid, I also won a scholarship through my high school funded by local businesses, which helped a lot with affordability. But just last week I was removed from waitlist by 2 schools, University of Rochester and Franklin and Marshall College, which was mostly like due to the advice you guys provided about how to get myself off the waitlist. I was finally able make up my mind and will be attending Franklin and Marshall College this fall. Thanks you guys.
