Thanksgiving/Christmas Breaks

I have a calendar from UCLA that lists the Thanksgiving holiday as "November 24-25" and the Christmas holiday as "December 26-27" -- am I missing something or do we only get two days off for Thanksgiving/Christmas?

My friends all get a month...

-Ender

i'm pretty sure we get 2 days plus the weekend for thanksgiving and then somewhere around 2.5 weeks for christmas.

thanksgiving you get a 4 day weekend (24-27).

christmas/new years is basically from your last final (Dec 16th is the last day of the quarter, but your last final may be before that) until Jan 4th (quarter begins), but classes dont begin again until Jan 9th.

If classes dont begin until Jan.9, does that mean we dont have to be on campus until that day, even if the quarter already began? Or do we have to be back by Jan 4? Because I might spend my Christmas abroad, and coming back to LA on Jan 6-7 would be better than my original plan of flying back on Jan 1-2.

you can come back whenever you want. You'll disover that the first day or two of classes is pretty pointless. Don't worry about it.
