Thanksgiving travel advice needed from current student

I'm trying to book my travel between CMC and Boston for thanksgiving weekend and wondering what advice current students have regarding missing Wednesday afternoon classes? I'd prefer not to have to take the multi-stage red-eye home if I can, but it will mean possibly missing Weds mid-day to late day classes. Any thoughts on how this is viewed by CMC faculty?

Thanks.

It depends what courses you’re in, but most Profs would be fine with you missing the Wednesday. Some even cancel class officially. I know people who have gone home on the Monday or Tuesday depending on the schedule.

The one major exception is that some Professors have midterms around this time, but it would be rare to have one on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.

I would hold off until you see your syllabi.

We toured the C5 on the TUESDAY before T’giving. By early afternoon, the campus was dead. I would doubt that much of anything would be scheduled at all on Wednesday.
