The 105 unit cap and AP credit

The UCs cap CCC credit to 105 units, but what about AP credit?

I passed 2 APs in high school (Euro 8 units, Spanish Lang 8 units) and will have 78 semester units at a CCC.

So, do I start off with 121 quarter units? (105 from CCC and 16 from AP)

This post is specifically for UCLA, but I'm sure it is the same with other UCs.

you will only get 105 transferable units out of the units you completed, and the ap units can be added on to your progress so you can graduate in time or earlier if you need to

I emailed UCLA and UCSB and they said the max you can transfer is 105 quarter units which is made up of both AP credit and CCC credit. In other words, it looks like the 2 APs I passed don’t count for anything now.
