Reading all your guys’ opinions is kind of disheartening. I thought the test was harder but everyone I took it with thought it was harder so I figured maybe they just changed the difficulty and that I would still get a 5. Now I’m not so sure.

I thought overall the test was a bit harder than the practice tests; I think there were eight MC questions I wasn’t sure about, and overall I’m iffy on the FRQ. A lot of it felt hit-or-miss or somewhat subjective to me. Like a “this may be right, but did you support it well enough for me to give you the points” type thing.

Hoping for a 5, and it’s not out of the realm of possibility, but I wouldn’t be surprised if I only got a 4. I’ll be very mad if I do get a 4 though, because I got 57/60s on all the practice tests I took, which are easy 5s.

Disclaimer: I’m not currently discussing (nor am I going to) any questions on the AP exam, just the overall level of difficulty. Just to be sure. ;D

Uhmm, if I remember correctly, last year, right after these AP tests, threads EXPLODED with specific discussions of MC questions. Maybe my memory is bad.

Doesn’t the SAT have the same policy? I always see people discussing questions literally right after the test.
Anyways, I thought I did amazing on the MC, 55/60 maybe, but completely BS’ed the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prompts. I was so glad for the fourth haha

listen to the poster above.
you WILL get penalized for discussing specific MC questions on college confidential.
it has happened many times.
college board goes on this board to find people discussing the test

How do you get the raw score from the free response?
On the past free resposne questions, they only gave 6 points for each question. But I read here that there are 60 poitns total?

It was normal - as expected given other practice AP tests. Absolutely no cases are on this one, which is a bit strange though. Well, to be fair, there were maybe 2, but they were blatantly obvious assuming a competent knowledge of US History.

Hypothetically, if the third FRQ asked about how certain groups effected the composition of political parties, we wouldn’t necessarily have to mention which party they supported.

I’m not going to mention specifics so I don’t violate the 48 hour rule, but FRQ #2 screwed me over because my teacher never even mentioned that, ever. We never went over it in class so everyone skipped over it in studying, believing it wasn’t important enough to study -____- So angry!

I wish the 48 hours would be up right now, I really need to know what the ? for the last part of 3 was so I can see if I accidentally didnt answer what the question was asking…and yeah, Question #2 the 2nd part was kind of iffy, and one portion of the third part of question 2 screwed me over. #s 1 and 4 I’m pretty sure I got all right. I’ve already found out I got 2 wrong on the multiple choice so I can pretty much say good bye to my 5…
