You’re saying goodbye to a 5 because of only about four or five mistakes? Honestly?

I don’t know, I can’t remember the questions right now for some odd reason. I think it’s cuz I took the AP Comparative test afterwards and now everything in my head is just gone and my brain is dead.
Anyway, there’s the 48 hour rule. So it’s not like I could’ve said anything about it in any case.

does any1 remember if u had to describe all parts of number 1 or just pick two???

It might have been all of them though I cant really recall

pretty sure you had to do all 3 for part b
c, was only one part
forgot a

The Catholics thing was weird. I didn’t use it, but my friend said he put that they “strengthen the moderate ‘blue dog’ wing of the Democratic Party” because they’re social conservatives but liberal on just about everything else. I didn’t really buy that. Yes, there are some pro-life/social conservative Catholic Democrats (Bob Casey), but for every one Bob Casey there are three John Kerrys, Patrick Kennedys, and Nancy Pelosis. Plus, Catholics overwhelmingly vote for liberals, even on abortion. Look at Rhode Island. 60% Catholic, yet nearly an all pro-choice congressional delegation (Langevin may be pro-life, but I know he’s voted with the Dems on ESCR and been pretty vocal about it). Very weird question, but otherwise the test was a slam dunk.

^^^ i didn’t get anywhere near that specific in any of my responses… makin’ me nervous here :D

During the exam, I couldn’t think of any coherent responses until after I handed in my test; there’s not a snowball’s chance in hell I got the question pertaining to the constitutional protections allowing for interest groups to influence legislation correct.

Now on to failing AP Spanish! :(

Well, if the exam was absurdly easy, then a few mistakes could mean the difference between a 4 and a 5, no? Not saying I know that much about the grading of APs, but I’m sure that committing a few egregious errors could definitely make the difference.

Or maybe it’s because I already know I’m not getting a 5 that I’m offering my useless opinion. :)

I totally got to drop in my “Eh yo AP reader imma let you finish but the Madisonian Model is the best governmental design OF ALL TIME” crossed out in the fourth essay. I was so happy.

I’m just a big nerd, don’t worry.

BTW, Imma call the OFFICE OF TESTING INTEGRITY on all of you. Damn hooligans!

Or maybe you’re just a beast at gov.
Don’t worry about humility here.

^^haha, that’s awesome. I just don’t have the guts to do that in any of my FRQs. Based off of what everyone has been talking about, (against CB’s rules but nonetheless) it sounds like I did really well.

I spent the last 45 minutes of FRQ questions doodling in the green book.

I also wrote a taunt on the last FRQ.

^ Lol - I made a beautiful masterpiece on the MC booklet. I finished the multiple choice in 20 minutes. I kinda made the kid next to me nervous haha… he thought that I gave up on the exam.

On the last FRQ, I didn’t even have time to formulate sentences for everything I had in mind. I literally resorted to just blasting out fragmented sentences of related legislation and terms.

I feel terribly sorry for the readers. I wrote so much. I had thirty seconds to spare at the end.

lol same. Except it was more like 4 minutes, at which point I calculated my raw score. I was the last one done and everyone was noticed I was doing math calculations on my green sheet. They were like wthhh

im with xo in that I had around 20 minutes left over at the end. Just went through my essays erasing random words and re-writing them more neatly :P

@ksarmand - Well, 4 or 5 mistakes in this test on the multiple choice corresponds to a mid-level 5. Assuming that each mistake on the FRQ that he mentioned was of equal weight to one mistake on multiple choice, he is still in that mid-level 5 zone (since the MC and FRQ are both 50% of the test).

I set my pen down, but then I came up with more ideas so I tried to jam in extra details between lines. I had to write small, but I used arrows to guide the reader. Hopefully it will add to whatever score I would have received without those additions.

^I wonder if they count the things written within the little margin-like within the box. I hope they do.

lol nothing to make you nervous about a test than reading CCers’ comments. After taking the test, I was like “easiest test ever- definite 5!” although now I’m doubting myself… haha thanks guys :P
