Agreed. In-depth knowledge of the constitutional provisions discussed during the exam would’ve made it a breeze, but last year’s didn’t require as much specialized knowledge.

No, Gov is not taken by a lot of sophomores. My memory may be deceiving me, but I believe that the vast majority of people taking both gov tests are seniors (you can check this if you wish, they make this information available publicly). Again, you’re not understanding my point. You’re attempting to objectify difficulty when difficulty is subjective in this case. I didn’t take Physics B this year, but I took Physics B AP (a class) this year and, for our final, we did a previously administered AP test and I got 150/180 (a clear 5). It was extremely simple (I got a 5 on a physics C: mech one we did too, but it wasn’t a clear 5).

Still, you cannot do a quality FRQ in 5 minutes. You just can’t. You must have done exceptionally well on the MC because, if you get 100% of the MC (which is possible with the 2009 MC) correct, you only need half the points from the FRQs to get a 5.

You did not write 9 pages in 5 minutes. Stop lying. That’s two pages of writing a minute and it seems physically impossible for any human being to do that.

Ah, this is the internet. Who bothers with telling the truth?

That aside, I agree with your above post.

“9 pages in 5 minutes”

uhh when did I ever say that?

Perhaps here?
When taken in conjunction with this, the math is pretty clear. :)

20 minutes / 4 FRQ = 5 minutes. And you did say you wrote 9 pages. However, motion12345 is incorrect in his/her quotation, and I did not fully read what I was copying and pasting; the math would indicate you wrote 2.5 pages in five minutes.

eh?

Total time for FRQ section: 100 minutes
Time I took: 30-40 minutes

…

O.o

-______________________________-

My brain is truly fried.

haha, ap hell week can do that xD

Man, don’t remind us; Calculus is tomorrow for me.

Haha although on my last practice test I didn’t even need to take the last section to get a 5 so I’m probably in good shape.

I agree with themeaningoflife that the 2009 FRQs were RIDICULOUSLY easy…I was hoping for something similar for this years. (not that they were too bad…)

Oh right. For some reason, I was thinking that the FRQ section was 80 minutes. Still, 40 minutes for four essays is still pretty damn quick (but not as inconceivable). And, ksarmand, I was rounding down :P. Technically, it was more like 1.8 pages per minute before.

Woops. Did I write 9 pages in 5 minutes lol. My bad.

^shall never quote from motion12345’s posts again

I thought it was pretty easy. I had it first semester, but started studying sunday. However, I just ended up on facebook… haha

Silly motion12345… understanding what year an exam was taken, and under what cirumstances determine’s someones opinion. Nevertheless I think we all came to a general conclusion that AP Gov is a joke…

Yeah, it was pretty easy. I think I could’ve taken it last year with no AP Gov class and noly AP US hi Story and gotten a 5 easily.

What, nobody wants to talk about the specifics of the FRQs now that we are actually permitted to do so by the College Board?

I thought we were allowed at 10:35 AM EST. Exactly 48 hours from the end of the test.

Does anybody else find it strange that we’re not allowed to talk about the multiple choice but yet College Board releases the exam for purchase? Just thought I put that out there.

We’ll receive the green packets tomorrow in class. (They are given to your teacher, whether they make it back to you, different story.)

I’ll probably check back tomorrow with my packet to actively discuss them. My memory is kind of weak from the exact wording right now.
