no they want two, check the application again.. there are forms for 2 recommendations

i was stupid enough not to realize, btw, that you can pay first and submit part one and then take as long as you want up until the deadline (or.. well, some ppl did submit after,b ut i wouldn't suggest doing that) to submit the essays/thinking part

so get the part one deal out of the way if you can so they should at least know there's an app coming. you don't have to do it now, but.. geez i can't believe i didn't know that..

SEE, doesn't take much to get into penn! =D

They don't review applications until deadline so it doesn't matter.

yah i know, but it was like.. extra time i could've had to work on my essays instead of filling out stupid information X(

OH. wait nono the main thing was getting an interview. like.. altho it's based on availability, sometimes (for some schools) they tell you to send in part one before a certain date to increase chances for an interview or something like that. yeah. i didn't end up getting one for columbia while everyone else did even tho i sent my part one early and the rest of them did not (oh ho but who actually got in ;)... ahem)

I think the new prompts are interesting. The "do for fun" seems pretty open-ended and good for showing something not readily apparent on the application. The second one seems to be something for weeding out people that aren't so serious about attending Penn.

I wish they kept the history question! That one was great.
