One poster mentioned choosing profs from rate your professor for the best marks. While it seems great it does not always work as everyone is different. The more brutal the prof the better my child performs. Also, just as in college admissions, where not everyone accepted has perfect grades the same goes for grad school and jobs. There is more to it. So you will find students at GT with gpas hovering around a 3.0 or less in stellar jobs and grad school.
My D is a senior at Tech and will be leaving with a 3.7 and she’s not a genius…but she did panic early, so to speak…she started meeting with tutors starting her 2nd week on campus and she never let her foot off the gas.
