<p>My daughter received an email and a catalog in the mail ( she is so not into this college confidential/admissions thing) . Apparently by way of college board because of her SAT scores. Any insights? I was specifically NOT looking there b/c they seem to have one of the lowest ( if there is a significant difference between like 2 and 3 percent) UC African American Populations.</p>

<p>On further research it appears UCSB has 3 percent African Anereican as do most of the UC's. UCSD is the one with the 1%.</p>

<p>I checked out an older thread of yours, and while I NEVER respond to chance threads, with your stats folks on CC would probably say you should have NO worries about the mid tier UC's.</p>
