Is Michigan worth full OOS tution?
I want a good experience along with a good degree. I've got OSU in my home state very affordable and decent engineering. But I'm facing $45,000 a year at UM. I got the standard loans, but no merit and no need based aid. Please vote. Could I still get the same experience if I went to UM for my graduate degree?
Is it selfish if I go and leave considerable debt in loans to my parents?
P.S. I'm an only child so its not like my parents have anyone else coming through they'd have to pay for.

OSU sounds more realistic for you. I would chose the substantially cheaper option.

OSU’d be a better deal for you, go to OSU.

Save your money.

save your $$

No, go to Michigan.

Although it is kind of pricey, in the long run you will be happy you went to one of the greatest institutions on EARTH.

If your parents are wealthy and tell you that they can afford it, I think Michigan is worth every penny. On the other hand, if your parents are middle-income, it is impossible to justify paying that much money on any university, including Harvard!
