The Box, original content?

<p>Hey all - </p>

<p>Is it best that The Box contain original content? I have a favorite art piece that appeals to me like nothing else in the world, but am afraid it not being original will be frowned upon.</p>

<p>I think it’s okay. You can put whatever you want in it. It’s too late to apply if you are a senior, though.</p>

<p>The box prompt says “appeals to you”. Rice will not judge you on whether it is original or not - it is personal taste and individual appeal.</p>

<p>The only things I say would be less than ideal are

  1. Anything to do with the food Rice - its lame and gives off the I-am-not-original/I-am-trying-too-hard vibe
  2. Something explicit - This is just to play it safe. It may not be an issue</p>

<p>I am pretty certain that “The Box” has no bearing on anyone’s admission chances(unless you do #1 or #2 from Antarius’ post, which will probably cause a rejection).</p>
