The Calculus BC Thread (No AB'ers)

The MC’s were easy . stupid FRQ over the guy diving off the diving board

MC: part A was good, part B was okay
FRQ: went quickly downhill from okay to great to maybe to AWFUL.

I’m predicting a 3 AB subscore and 2 BC

Bleh. I’m assuming on average I’ll have a 74/108. Anybody can tell me if that’s a halfwaydecent score capable of making a 5?

Definitely a 5

I’m just about to cry. ): I’m hoping, praying for a 3. If not, I’d be too ashamed to visit my calculus teacher. She has had a 100% pass rate for over 6 years. I don’t know want to be her first failure. sigh I got 90% on a practice exam, but for some reason I really freaked out during the real exam. My hand was all jittery and ahhh.

Hurrah. Thanks for the info, toast ;)

And I think, based on the responses I’ve seen so far, that this was a pretty damned hard test, so it’ll probably be curved pre-tay gently.

That being said, this was QUITE the rude shock to me. I personally am accustomed to getting pretty damned well near 100% on most tests and stuff, but this was killer :/

It’d better be curved nicely… OMG, I’m so worried it hurts. )':

im kinda woried because everyone keeps talking about a polar question…and i don’t remember one
thats not good lol

There was no FRQ with polar coordinates, just a couple of MC’s on it.

ok nevermind i was looking at the posts from the beginning of the thread lol

They could have atleast used lube :(

Actually FR question 1 and 2 were darn easy. I’m sure I got almost 9/9 points on both but 5 and 6… Damn.

blackberry, i’m right there with you…i’m really scared…:(

actually i thought question 5 was pretty easy, but question 6 KILLED ME
and how come we didn’t get any area under the curve/volume frq’s’
they had one on like every single test before.

probably lost the bulk of my frq points on #3

I found 4-6 to be easier than 1-3… might have just had to do with relaxing

FRQ 1-5: Peace of cake. So easy I could have laughed. FRQ 6: All right. Not impossible, but very very difficult.

MC: SOOO hard! Usually I have time to go through all of my answers and double, maybe even triple check. Last year for AB I was 100% of each of my MC answers. Not this year. I left 4 altogether blank. I kept forgetting things and I had 0 time to double check. Not a good thing, because I make really stupid mistakes.

sighhhhhh

what did u guys get for 6a the series one w/ e^(x-1)^2 ?

was it something like sigma 0 -> infinity^(2n)/n!

mmhmm(((((

@zhonginator

Discussing questions can result in a cancellation of your scores (see sticky at top of forum)

I think I’m going to cancel my score, as I know could have done better had I not been sick today. At least Calc II will be a GPA booster for me in college. (:
