I thought the BC MC was easier than the AB too…probably b/c I couldn’t live without a calculator. The Free Response was okay until the last problem…DAMN…I hated that one…

Ok I’m paranoid

I am so glad the test is over. It wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. The MC wasn’t bad but the free response non-calculator was pretty bad.

What do you think the curve will be for BC? What percentage for a 3? I think I failed and I don’t know whether or not I should cancel my score.

does any1 have a link to the breakdown of BC scales of years’ past? like 1= 0-15 points 2=16-30, etc?

just praying for a 4 D: i thought some of the frqs were easy (especially the non calc ones). diver one confused me for a while, and that last taylor polynomial was something i SHOULD have known b/c we went over it in class but it SUCKS that i was studying for my french final in class and missed everything that went on! kills herself

frq’s were pretty decent. except the 3rd one about the diving. totally confused me. taylor was easier than that one ):

MC was hard, both calc and non-calc.
praying for a 3 ):

If we answered a FRQ in the wrong boxes, will the grader notice and dock points? I had such a headache that I think I put my answers in the wrong boxes.

for all of you talking about how easy and straightforward the multiple choice is, you may be mistaken. It SEEMED easy at first, but it was actually pretty tricky and you may not have analyzed it enough . I though the free response was much easier than past years (especially the calculator part!), but what is this polar equation you guys keep talking about? I don’t really remember a polar one. Just the bicycle question, the concert one, the diver, the separation of variables one with eulers on it, the easy chart one, and the taylor series question. Were there different versions or something?

For a 5, you have to get 65-108 points. Quite a large margin. About 90% of people who get 26-45 questions right on the MC get a five. I did well on the MC and most of the FRQ. Last one was a doozy though I got the A part. I think I did pretty well overall, a solid four and maybe a five.

calculator part was extremely easy. MC was rushed, but okay. Last frq was baad.

cjones120, the interval of convergence was negative infinity to positive infinity because the limit equaled 0. i wasnt too sure about the point on inflection, but i got 1?

how do i join BCmath ? can you post a link

I got one also for point of inf. but I just guesed. I said one point at x=2.

can someone clarify how exactly we could approximate our score? like, what’s the curve…? and how many MC were there again, i can’t even remember. i did so crappy it’s not even funny, and i was hoping for a 5…hah ridiculous

there are 28 non calc MC’s and 17 calc ones i think?

mult choice is worth 54 points, free response is worth 54 points.

to find your raw score for mult choice, it is 1.2(#right - .2#wrong)
then raw score for free response is just 9 points per problem x 6 problems

a 5 is at least 64/108 and a 4 is 54/108-64/108

i dont know the others, and i hope you dont need to know them haha

so a rough estimate of a 5 is at least between 63% and 67% right.

I thought the MC’s were pretty easy compared to my BC Calulus Mock AP Exam that we took as our final. I thought those were more difficult than these and I got 4 MC’s wrong on my final. There wasn’t really anything tricky about those MC’s, you just had to be careful not to make any dumb mistakes.

@ kevinbaker
thanks, that makes me feel a lot better! …i think i’m probably okay for a 4 then. thanks :]
