I went to the orientation and it's so big....
I'm afraid that if I have like a ten minutes passing period then I wouldn't have enough time??
I got so tired from walking back and forth in a circle/
For those current student what do you recommend me to do???
Are we going to have classes from one college to the other...??

There's a shuttle that goes around the entire perimeter of the campus. Also, I highly doubt that you'd be late to class, even with a ten minute passing period (which you can hopefully avoid by just picking classes that are farther apart timewise). It really doesn't take THAT long to walk from building to building - it probably seems longer than it actually is. Plus, UCSD was ranked #1 for weather so it shouldn't be much of a pain to walk in such mild conditions.

Puhaha, lucky for us Muirons, many of our classes are only a few steps away. :)

But yea, walking won't be too bad, and even if it's on the other side of campus, shuttles are there for a reason.

Plan your classes so that you don't have insane distances to travel in 10 minutes.

UCSD is actually pretty small compared to UC Davis, UC Santa Cruz, and other big UC schools.... and trust me... I been there too....

10 minute passing period is tough if you have classes at opposite ends of campus, which, hey, happens. you could try and pick up the skateboard this summer, which seems like a popular mode of transport on campus. or get a bike. the shuttle...i've had to wait for the shuttle for as long as it would have taken me to walk to my destination, so i personally wouldn't recommend that as a dependable means of getting places.
planning classes based on location might be a good idea, but don't let that get in the way of planning them based on the PROFESSOR! =)

Just don't skate down the hill! Someone died there while skating down!

What happens if you're a girl and can't skate? or ride the bike

There isn't a rule that girls can't skate :) PLENTY of the skaters on campus are girls. And you have allll summer to learn, it should be fun.

Shuttle. Or schedule a bigger time block between your classes and you can walk. ;) Keep off the freshman 15.
