<p>Well I just got accepted to the college of my dreams and hoped for a great financial packet but to my surprise, I only received 20k out of 50k.</p>

<p>The college did say that I was missing my Business/Farm Supplement which I am sure I sent before the Feb. 1 deadline. I have a copy of it sent before Feb. 1 and I sent that and another copy of the Business/Farm Supplement to the college yesterday.</p>

<p>My family's business is not well off but it is considered big because of it's location in NYC. Now my question is, how likely is it that I will gain more money for this college?</p>

<p>Yeah true. I am grateful of course but I just don't want to consider loans and the stress that comes along with them.</p>

<p>My son wasn't offered any aid from a $50K college(same one?) with an EFC of $17K. I contacted the college and they said we were selected for further documentation by the CSS folks. The college said once this was resolved we would be eligible for aid. Good luck.</p>
