Hello. :)

I want to apply to The College of Fine Arts at the University of Texas at Austin. What does this college look for? How should my test scores be - and how good should my portfolio look? Any information on how to be accepted into this school would be amazing. :)
I would be transferring there from a community college in my city, considering the costly price of UT. I would have roughly 60 hours. Is this too much?

Any information would be great. I want to know EXACTLY what they want!

Thanks!

A good letter of recommendation from a professor you got to know really well would be a big plus.

Seek this guy:
[Mark?Anthony Zuniga : Department of Theatre and Dance : University of Texas at Austin](http://www.finearts.utexas.edu/tad/people/faculty_and_staff/staff/zuniga.cfm)

He’s the undergrad academic advisor. He’s really nice and he’ll tell you what you need/have to do.

Good luck! :)

What major are you trying to transfer into? If it’s studio art or design, I may be able to help you. PM me and I can send you some of the stronger pieces of my portfolio that got me accepted into studio art. That way, you’ll at least have some idea. However, I don’t know EXACTLY what the professers want because I don’t actually start till the fall.

And I’m sure you already have, but check out their site [The College of Fine Arts](http://www.utexas.edu/finearts/)
