The COUNTDOWN to EA decisions

see the best way to pass the time the fastest/easiest way without thinking about time is to take drugs. but then again, thats illegal, so the next best thing is to get hooked on a video game.

Ha! My semester exams end on Dec.15th, and Dec.16th is half day at school. So I'll at least have my exams out of the way before I find out if I'm in or not...If I'm in, hooray! And if not, it's still not that bad because Christmas break starts Dec.17 :).

I don't have semester exams! My school rocks like that. When I was a freshman they didn't give them because Christmas fell on a strange day or something.. and then the year after, the faculty voted to stop giving semester exams at all. It's wonderful.

We get off on the 14th, so I suppose this decision could make or break my holiday..

Haha, no it wouldn't ruin my holiday or anything like that, but still. :)

sometimes i wish the decision was coming tomorrow and then other times I wish it were 3 months away. How do u guys get off on Dec.15? I only get on the day before christmas eve

...Holidays start just before Xmas eve? Aw, that's not very nice now, is it?!

Random question, but I was wondering what made you ppl chose Yale EA over Harvard EA. Also, how many colleges are you applying to?

they have computers in ethiopia? ;)

damn...

Ouch.

We don't have midterms either. And seniors are exempt from finals if they have an A average for the year and an A for the fourth marking period.

oh jersey. my friend has that too. damn ny!

We have exemptions for non-honors and non-AP classes for seniors whose averages are above 85, so I'd be exempt from my government midterm, but I'd still have to take midterms for my APs :(

i wish i could start a break from school right now until i find out...that way i could just chill...

lol amnesia, yeah we have comps here...how the world progresses. amazes me sometimes. :p

Our midterms aren't till January (but then, we started Sept. 8th and end in mid June). And I don't get out of school till Dec. 23rd either. And then we go back on Jan. 3rd. AGH.

Dang. I feel sorry for all of you people with midterms. We have a trimester system here, so the only major tests each year are finals.

...and, to respond to someone else earlier- this decision is going to make or break my holiday. I've barely done anything for my RD schools, so it's gonna be a long break if I don't get in.

i have midterms, but theyre at the end of january.

We get projects here for some of my midterms, so its not too bad...better than in India at least (where each exam lasts 3 hrs!)

i envy you blurblurblur, i would give anything to not have midterms next week

I just wanted to point out that we've about 10 days to go ^_^

9 days......

9 days! So close yet so far...

I wonder if we could make a calculus equation out of this....as student approaches Dec. 15th, panic approaches infinity...

Our school has exemptions as long as you have an 80 and no absents or tardees...if you have 3 absences and 2 tardies, you need a 95 to be exempt. So (thank goodness) I'm exempt from all of my classes...our exams are on the 15th, 16th, 19th, and 20th...so it's gonna be four days of R&R at school for me! Woohoo!
