Can a student take any course they want of the four undergraduate schools IF they meet the requirements of their major or the core curriculum of their particular school?

generally any course is open if you meet the prerequisites or are otherwise given permission by the professor.

doesn't have to fill a major requirement slot on our handy-dandy course planning worksheet; that's what electives are for.

I'm pretty sure that some classes are mean for students in their respective colleges though, such as management 100 for wharton kids, but yes, penn does stress that it is "one school" and you can pick and choose classes from all of the schools.

each non-college school (engineering, nursing, wharton) has requirements in the college, too...the curriculum is generally pretty flexible, esp. with ap credits.
