the deadline passed

Applying to College Common and Coalition Application

<p>I was ready to submit at 7pm so I logged onto the Common application, but then it kept logging me out every time I clicked save. Then I had to contact the help center and wait 45 minutes for a response, which was not even helpful. Then it was 8 and I finally was able to log on, but then I couldn't access the supplements. There was a error message. I contacted the help center again, but they kept saying that it will be fixed in ten minutes. it was more like a whole hour! then it was 8:45. I kept having all these problems, more and more kept coming up- and I sent a message to the help center each time. but it was past the deadline now, and for the other colleges I could submit it still, but one had this message:</p>

<p>The deadline for one (or more) of your selected institution(s) and its related decision plan has passed. As a result, you are no longer able to submit an application for the selected decision plan to this college.</p>

<p>What do I do? I already emailed the school right when this came up, and explained all of the difficulties. Do you think they will accept it still?
Has anyone been in this situation?</p>

<p>Wait for the school’s response. If they choose to, they can grant you an exception.

<p>aw i’m sorry about that. but hey, don’t worry about something you don’t have much power over, your worrying would’ve just gone to waste and in the end you’ll only have hurt yourself. so just have some faith and remember adcoms are human too, they’ll understand things happen!

<p>i called the college and they told me so many students had emailed and called about technical difficulties with the common application, so they extended the deadline to today! I am so relieved. you were all right!</p>
