If the school only accepts one score, which one do you think I should send in?
The december one or the one in January, which I can do better on but it is a time issue and I'm pretty sure schools hate late applications.

I think they accept multiple scores. I was just being cautious with the information I provide you because I don't know the answer for your specific schools. That is why I suggest you contact them. However, I'd be surprised if they do not take multiple scores. I'm just a parent who went through this process last year passing along what I learned.

all right, I'll contact them. It might be hard because some of them are already on winter break and I have to wait til sometime in January.
Thank you so much for you help, I really appreciate it.
Happy Holidays! :]

Msu, did you get your scores emailed to you?

Msu, at Andover, they have a very nice policy for SSAT scores. You can submit multiple scores, and they actually take the highest scores from each individual test (i.e. if you scored higher in maths in one test and higher in verbal on a different one, they will take the two higher scores) and count only those. I don't know about other schools, though.

no, I got them mailed to me because I didnt know there was an email option until after. I believe everyone who had them emailed to them received their scores last friday.

that's great!
but that means I HAVE to do better on the next test no matter what, assuming they like to see improvement.

Well, give it your all, study as much as you think necessary, and if you still don't do as well as you want, remember that SSATs are not the only factor. You could still get in with your currant ones; higher scores are just increase your chances.
