The Ecology House

Does anyone know anything about the Ecology House? Are the people there social? Do they go to parties? How is it like living there?

Thanks

anyone know?

I lived there for my freshman year 2010-2011 and I can tell you it’s horrible.

Unless you’re a giant nerd who doesn’t want to leave the room/Eco House then DON’T ever live here. I know this post is years old, but hopefully potential housers will read this and stay the hell away from here.

NO ONE goes out. The people are WEIRD and antisocial. There is a GOOD reason no one lives here and there’s always rooms available. Even the private bathroom doesnt win it over.

The rooms are crappy, albeit big, but not warm or inviting. It’s outdated and NOT eco-friendly. No one leaves their doors open, its like living in a lonely apartment.

Ultimately, the Ecology House is the reason why my freshman year sucked. There’s hardly any freshmen and you’re sooo far away from other freshmen it makes it SO difficult to socialize properly.

ECOLOGY HOUSE IS AWFUL.

actually if you’re being completely honest and accurate that sounds perfect for me! the only thing is that everyone has to have a roommate right? I’m really liking the social atmosphere you’re describing but I reaaaaaaaaaaaalllllllllllllllllllllllyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy want/need a single. Please reply back!!!

buuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmmpppppppp :)

It’s very far from campus / pretty isolated. The people there tend to be very weird from my person experience.

even more perfect. but can someone please tell me if it’s possible to get a single in there???

krmh11, you may want to try emailing the housing office and asking them for info about the ecology house. that would probably be the best way to get the information you want about the type of rooms they offer.
