do people usually try to connect or incorporate georgetown into the essays, or do they purely talk about themselves and expressed who they are/ they character?

I'm afraid that my essays do not convey WHY i want to go to georgetown, as it was just describing my summer activities and my passions

In my experience, it depended on the question. I think the school specific one gives you the best opportunity to do so, especially the Georgetown College one. SFS and MSB are not exactly asking you why you want to go there but you should mention something. The general essay might work but if you want to use your common app for that one you may not be able to incorporate the Georgetown part into it if it doesn’t sound right, which is what happened to me.
