I applied almost 3 months ago from today! So relieved I got in… definitely going to penn state!</p>

<p>I got the coming days status on Saturday, received my decision this morning</p>
<p>You got it pretty fast, I’ve had the coming days status for what seems like a while now…is there any truth to the fact that they only update the statuses before 8am? Should I stop checking in 6 times per day? :p</p>
<p>Haha well that’s what been said but i doubt there’s any factual information backing it up…I’d say after 2 pm if they haven’t changed it they’re most likely done for the day. However, even after I found that out I continued to check it multiple times a day!</p>

<p>Congrats everyone - my D is right there with you, she’s been waiting since late Sept., status has not moved at all online. She called at Christmas and they assured her they did have everything, just hadn’t decided yet but she would hear something by Jan 31st.
Her stats were not outstanding, but not exactly poor either - 3.6 GPA, top 15% of her class, solid ECs and sports, VP of her class, study abroad experiences… SATs were only 1750, ACT was 25 so that could be the delay if they are so numbers driven. She applied for summer, undeclared major.<br>
Sure hope you all get good news, it makes your parents crazy watching you guys go through this agonizing wait! GOOD LUCK - cross your fingers for my D too!</p>
<p>PUPSMOM…my daughter sounds much like yours! She applied for summer as an undecided major. She has a 3.6 gpa and a 1200 sat. She applied the first week in September when the application was first available.</p>
<p>We are in-state and she played 2 varsity sports, secretary of her class, job, etc. Hopefully, both of our girls will get good news soon!</p>
<p>Does anyone know about anyone who received a picture of nittany lion or branch campus and got rejected? or does it just stay upark?</p>

<p>Hey guys i have a question , i just applied to PSU university park around two days ago, and i saw that the priority was 11/30. is that bad for me? is that an automatic no or do i have a good chance? GPA #3.55 unweighted. 28 Act Great activities and strong essay. Someone help!</p>
<p>It’s definitely not an automatic no. Given, priority helps your chances, but providing they still have room when they get to your application, you may have a decent shot. Good luck! :)</p>
<p>Bluehen - yes, it’s been a long frustrating wait, especially seeing the kids in her HS who are getting letters now & knowing her stats are considerably higher. Really don’t get the whole process of why some wait a month, others wait 5 ! She has gone over her application with a fine tooth comb just to be sure everything is there and we just don’t get it. Hopefully we’ll all hear something soon, the wait is agonizing and seeing daily Facebook posts “Accepted to Penn State” doesn’t help. Ugh…</p>

<p>I’ve heard it’s 3-5 days mcpny94, some quicker. The longest I’ve seen is 5 days. I too have that status, it’s been 2 days for me. Hoping, can’t wait!</p>
<p>PUPSMOM: the worst is seeing the kids who really don’t want the school who are getting accepted while we all wait here knowing how much we really want to be accepted!</p>
