Ok so some of us thought friday at 5...didn't happen
Then Saturday at 12.....didn't happen
Now we have 3 days left in this dreaded month
I want everyone who reads this to leave your thoughts on when what time and anything else you want to say so time will go faster.

I applied priority from out-of-state and im curious as to why people want to go their a great amount. I visited once and didn’t feel like I really saw enough to judge the college. Can anyone elaborate as to why it’s their top choice?

That is because it is near a great city and has top ranked academic programs as well as so many clubs and nice facilities. Better then schools in New Jersey besides like Princeton, but can’t get into Princeton. Ok back to the topic of decision time.

I’m just gonna go ahead and assume it’s gonna be Tuesday at 5…so I don’t get my hopes up on Monday. 3 days everyone!! EXCITING STUFF! Best of luck to all of you. You ALL deserve to get in!

@WizKid5 I don’t know if this is very helpful, but this was my thought process with UMD. Originally, I don’t know why, I overlooked UMD. It came up in my searches (I’ve been looking at colleges for literally years) but I sort of looked into it and then crossed it off my list. Months later, I found it again, and when I started REALLY looking into it, I couldn’t remember why I crossed it off. I started researching more and more and on paper, at least, it seemed like the perfect college for me. I decided I had to visit. When I visited, I just knew. I set foot on campus and completely felt at home. I was honestly in awe. Objectively, the opportunities in DC are great, the academic programs are well-respected, it’s a beautiful campus, it’s highly ranked, etc. But really the biggest factor for me was how I felt when I stepped on campus the first time (even though it was POURING!).

Back on topic, though, I’m guessing Tuesday at 5. Only three more days!

I feel the same way as oceanicole. I stepped foot on that campus and instantly felt like it could be a top choice. I overlooked it at first as well, and didn’t really start considering it highly until a few months ago, and then I gr deferred from another top choice of mine, not necessarily number one, but then I was sure about UMD
I think Tuesday at 5 as well.
Go terps

And good luck to everyone!!

thanks not much longer now!

@melissa just let me reiterate… TWINS.

@WizKid5 Yeah, I’m OOS, too. Basically same experience to the letter as oceanicole. The area and campus are amazing and I was really impressed with the academics. The professors and students I talked to were all really cool and passionate, too, which sealed it for me. Good luck and hope you grow to love it!

Anyway, yeah, this wait is killing me. Passing the time on this forum and the portal. Probably isn’t helping, but these are the facts of decision time. Smart people are reduced to mindless drones.

Everyone, I am so nervous now T^TTT
