The Financial Aid Office has not received your financial aid application (FAFSA)

What?

The Financial Aid Office has not received your financial aid application (FAFSA) for the current academic year. We cannot determine your eligibility for financial aid without this information. To complete the FAFSA or check on the status of a submitted application go to: FAFSA - Free Application for Federal Student Aid.

If you completed a FAFSA and UCLA has no record of it, please note:

* Applications are forwarded to UCLA within 5-7 business days, if submitted via web and 3-4 weeks, if submitted via paper.
* The process has not been completed, if the application was “Saved” and not “Submitted” for processing. If you were not presented with a confirmation page, your FAFSA may not have been submitted.
* UCLA (school code 001315) MUST be listed on your FAFSA.
* If the Social Security Number on your FAFSA does not match the SSN in our records, we will not receive your FAFSA data.

Does this mean I have to submit an SIR to view my EFC?

Did you make sure to put down UCLA in your list of schools when filling out the FAFSA? I remember that was my issue but I was able to go back and edit it. You shouldnt have to submit your sir in order to see how much it’s all gonna cost.

I definitely put UCLA down on my FAFSA, and I’m positive I submitted it February 2.

you should call the financial aid office. my myFAO said the exact same thing but after calling them, it turns out that i didn’t turn in one of the required forms which explained why they haven’t sent me my financial aid award yet(verification form for dependent students), and that they did have my fafsa processed.

i got the same message but thats only cuz i had used the estimate from the 2008 forms to do my fafsa. gonna update it with the 2009 forms this upcoming week
