The Fury of the Muslim World-Mohammed Cariacatures

"However, I am not a fan of President Bush. You just make random assumptions, don't you?"

No, neverborn, I did not make a "random assumption". JamesN said that you are like a cheerleader who supports Bush. Bush was a cheerleader. So I said that you could follow his footsteps of being a male cheerleader and go into power. And that was a joke, so don't get all offended and such.

The muslims are quite simply, noobs.
they aren't used to having their precious religion satirized like everybody else (jews, catholics, protestants, buddhists, etc)

thats just what the western world does. everything is satirized on a regular basis.. and if they are going to be a part of this increasingly western world, then they will have to face these caricatures and understand that it is a joke, not some sacrilegous blow to Mohammed.

guguru: I was talking to JamesN. I was not offended by your joke. I was saying he makes assumptions that I am a cheerleader for Bush when I am a very vocal critic of President Bush.

o well the disregard my comment.

Maybe we're just sick of everyone assuming we're terrorists.

There are plenty of PEACEFUL protests against those cartoons. The people who resort to violence are idiots.

I agree. I'm sure there are peaceful protests going on. Only those are not headlined, they don't make ffor good media.
The news are after a good story, people burning buildings is a very good story.
People sitting in a circle, strumming a guitar and singing Kumbaya, is not.

[Even if Jews controlled the media, Muslims are the most guilty of giving a bad name to their religion. It is Muslim terrorists who strap on bombs or fly planes into buildings and not Jews. If you don't want Islam to get a bad rap then maybe you and the rest of the Islamic community should do something about it. Blaming the Jews will get you nowhere. Trust me, people have been doing it for millenia.]
what do you mean do somethin about it? how the heck are we supposed to stop them?? It's not like they care baout what a bunch of ppl think anyways... plus theyre killin muslims too, the bombings in Jordan killed way more arabs than it did nonarabs.. these people arent on any side, theyre not gonna listen to us, what your talking about is totally unrealistic..

[In addition, how can we put so much money in the hands of a government that can't ensure that all of that money will go to serving the poor instead of expanding the bank accounts of corrupt politicians and terrorists? When the terrorism and corruption end or are seriously diminished I will be all for more direct aid to Palestine.]
where dyou think the money they give to isreal goes to? the poor??? how dyou think they pay for all those weapons, all that money goes for the military, and for killing more kids and women, and old men.. yup thats a great cause...

[One has the moral right. ]
what moral right??? zionists don't have morals...

[ Let's be honest, it is in AMERICA'S best interest to financially support those who support us.]
yes, that your right about, but your wrong about the reason, the only reason america continues to support Isreal is because, not \it has no choice, Isreal freaking OWNS america now..

Edit: look up one of Sharon's speaches, in it he says it himself..

[After all, it was the British who controlled Palestine and not the Palestinians.]
yes, dont you see something wrong with that??

[The news are after a good story, people burning buildings is a very good story.
People sitting in a circle, strumming a guitar and singing Kumbaya, is not.]
yup, dirt sells...

I believe it was you that lost the war.

Whether the control was moral is not the question. But it was within British jurisdiction under the treaty.

"I believe it was you that lost the war.

Whether the control was moral is not the question. But it was within British jurisdiction under the treaty."

The British promised the palestinian arabs that they would help them set up a government if they helped the british fight the ottomans in world war one. Then the British happily stabbed them in the back.

if further proof is needed of this, search up "The Proclamation of Baghdad" which is a letter sent by Lieutenant General Sir Stanley Maude to the arabs in bagdad.

Just to post a few.

sydney_bristow87: No one has ever claimed that there are not Muslims who condemn the violent protests and terrorism. The problem is that there are very vocal Muslim clerics that have called for the violence. Keep in mind that most of the violent protests occurred after Muslim prayers where Muslim clerics went on a tirade and pushed for widespread protests that eventually turned deadly.

I wasn't trying to argue/provide a defense against someone's claim, I simply wanted to show a few examples of how a lot of the protests are peaceful.
