<p>Davis only has one big advantage that I can see, it's a bit more rural than cal and ucla.</p>
<p>cal and ucla will remain the top campuses
there might be some moving for the middle uc's though, but nothing huge
ucsd will get stronger and get closer to la and berk as they build up their weaker programs
i dont foresee any changes with cal and ucla...no physical evidence to show that they are losing strength (berk admissions this year was harder than last and la was slightly easier)</p>
<p>I would like to see a new UC place in or near Mendocino with a Hotel/Resort school (like Cornell's hotel school) and a school for the performing arts...from modern music to the study of classical and cultural music. I would also throw in a school for Forestry and California natural resource policy. </p>
<p>For the existing schools, I see the top tier getting bigger as UCSD competes academically and UCD continues to grow with academics and sports.</p>
<p>I think the quality of air in Merced will stiffle future growth.</p>
