The Girls' School Thread

^ woah. you must be… spectacular.

i’ve heard of linden hall, though. & yeah i’d definitely go to visit first

@danceaway: My friend attended Linden Hall, she also got accepted very very quickly without interview, with a good amount of scholarship. The school has like 70% korean/chinese. They don’t speak English that well. Many students, including my friend, transfer out after few months. School’s too small, not many activities, people speak Chinese everywhere, many negative things…
From what I heard from my friend, it doesn’t worth it. Sorry to say :(

Anything about Emma Willard?

OK, thanks for the input!

Linden seems like a real good opportunity esp if there is some serious scholarship money behind it and its a good match. I was very impressed with their website boasting of high SATs and average AP scores. It’s the oldest prep school in the country. They have an Equestrian program (if that’s what your talent is), and it looks ideally situated in a small town with —who could ask for more chocolate factory!

there’s diversity and an aim toward developing women leaders. I don’t know…who could ask for more?

Opportunities are what you make of them. This seems like a real opportunity.

OK, thank you. I’m still very conflicted. The thing that’s pushing me is the horseback riding. Where I live now I am only able to ride once or twice a week and I want to up that since I’ve been riding for 4 years and I’m starting to ride competitively.

Does anyone else know anything about it?
