I chose Psychology as my major with a minor in English.
And I have letters of recommendations from alumni.</p>
<p>So I'll be honest, my SAT score is horrid, and I wasn't president of anything, but I have my heart and soul set on this school. I'm also a first generation (my parents not having completed high school) and I'm Hispanic (I've heard that can be an advantage?)</p>
<p>I'll take Blinn team if offered, I just feel like College Station is the place for me...</p>
<p>you can hope for blinn team. I wish you would have taken ACT as well, some kids just do better on ACT.
The bad: Your Math score is low and I’m afraid that is going to be your downfall.
The good: You have a lot of community service hours and A&M likes that. You appear to be a hard working student balancing a lot of hours at work and school. Psychology may not care too much about your math scores. </p>
<p>Have you done the official A&M tour?, toured the college of psychology?, attended any of the things A&M offers to high school Jr/Sr’s? </p>
<p>Another idea for you. You can go to Blinn - do well and transfer in to A&M.</p>
<p>Your stats don’t look too great. Did you take a challenging curriculum? Either way, from the way it looks right now, your chances are pretty slim for A&M. You’ll most likely be offered Blinn…</p>
