Goodness, I can hardly keep up with this tread!
Congrats to Morgan!!!

@Nickwasy - did you happen to go to the SEC academic banquet? If so, I was the guy you talked to! I decided on Hillsdale. (If not, this is sort of an awkward post)

Took stats on Tuesday. Calc today. I had done an independent study across both subjects, so I didn’t get deep into convergence or Taylor stuff. Hoping for… 1… point on no. 6.
Literature tomorrow… uggg. Anyone else taking that?
Then physics and econs next week!

The literature exam will be an epic abortion. Nobody at my school is in any way prepared for it. I’ll do some sparknotesing in an hour before I go to bed and call it quits.

vikroz: Nope, you must be thinking of someone else. But it’s good to see that there’s someone else out there who likes Proust and is going to Michigan? (If that’s not why you thought we were the same person, what is the real reason?)

Actually, I guess it was sort pretty improbable. The person was simply waitlisted by Harvard but planning to go to UMich to do physics. He said he was on CC, too.
So, maybe he’s out there lurking!

@Cicero: that’s exactly what I’m doing now! Wikipedia actually has some really nice plot summaries and mini-analysis if that’s what you’re looking for. Good luck!

Hi guys, I think the most important thing to remember when taking Aps is to NOT SECOND GUESS YOURSELF. Seriously, the answer you think is right is almost always right;

Boggler: I wouldn’t be worried about the phrasing of a quote from a person who was quoting someone else who had information about Harvard’s waitlist. Still, I am also clinging on to every word.

Be optimistic! Perhaps all the other colleges going to their waitlists first will allow Harvard to accept more people (mathematically it makes no sense, but I’m clinging to it!)

@Cicero: Yeah my english lit teacher, IMO, didn’t really prepare me. I feel a little bit unconfident right now but I am in too good of a mood for it to bother me :D.

Add my S to the H waitlist. He is also waiting to hear from Princeton, Penn, Columbia and Brown. He’s the waitlist king! He signed up with Dartmouth over Duke.

Add my S to the H waitlist too. He got a call from Princeton yesterday. He committed to Caltech with Medical Scholar program (UCSD Medical School).

Well, since parents are chiming in, I’ll add my D who has signed up with Yale. She will certainly give Harvard serious consideration if she gets in, but at this point it is looking very unlikely she would choose Harvard over Yale.

Add my D to the list. She matriculated to Duke over Dartmouth and Cornell.

She attended Duke’s first admitted students’ visiting session which was held April 5 and 6th. Duke’s b-ball team won the national title on the 5th and the campus erupted into full celebration with bonfires and all-night parties. She was assigned to spend the night with a current freshman but the two of them never went to sleep.
