<p>Thanks--I talked with son yesterday & he says they thoroughly covered matrices, so he feels pretty confident about it. Sorry to hear that your daughter has to play catch up because the prof decided to skip the material--really unfair. Good that you kept the book & were able to send it to her. Hopefully her current instructor will be able to help her as well.
Wow, so much of this sounds so foreign to me. The highest level of math I took was calculus--the 1st level in HS & again in my 1st semester of college. I never really felt comfortable with it, so didn't persist.</p>
