My daughter is halfway through her college career and starting her third year at UA. It has been a fantastic experience for her. The opportunities UA has provided and continues to provide amazes me. Clubs, leadership opportunities, meaningful service opportunities, research opportunities (for which she won awards last year and earned a paid research position this year), study abroad, amazing recommendations written by several professors, acceptance into University scholars - the list goes on and on. And throughout it all the administration has been responsive and hands on. She even got a call last night from the school to make sure she and her family were ok since we are in part of the country ravaged by floods right now. University of Alabama is a class act top to bottom. The hype on cc about this school is real.
