Thanks for the advice. Where else should I post that?

Right now, i am at level 3. I really want to go to MIT, but I feel like I have no really outstanding extracurriculars that would get me in. I have some leadership positions, but i don't do research (MIT is big on research) and i don't have many notable jobs, no great awards. is there any hope?

to mjtyankee: There is an entire "What are my chances?" sub-forum where you can post your concerns. Your SAT scores (and extracurriculars) seem veryy impressive to me (another rising senior), but I am not really aiming for the Ivies. Good luck!

I am really enjoying reading this thread. I'll be a senior next year and I am at a level 3 for SAT. This thread gives me hope that I can be normal and still get into a good school!

Wow,
yeah, this really gives me hope for college admissions next year...
I just barely made this club! yay!

Im think that the levels should be more broken up. I mean i got a 2100 and i think that it is a very different score from a 1900. and they are in the same level. It should be done by at least 100 point increments

Great Y'all! Ill be giving SATs in october....
Im living in a place far from the US, and get no guidance on essays....can anyone guide me with that? like....any book to consult or smth?

I think that 2100 to 2200 should be its own level. Big difference between my score (2170) and a 2290.
