The Indian Thread #20 (a)

^I wish it were too. The process is entirely arbitrary, so you shouldn’t stress over it (which I understand is easier said than done). Just complete the application to the best of your abilities and have no expectations. And no matter what happens you will do well wherever you go if you continue working hard!

Haha, no need to apologize man!

^Yes, that is why I am still following CC man. I keep telling myself the same thing to keep me going or I would have totally converted into a total JEE shyte. I just plan to do my best and hope for the best.

^Good. That’s the spirit! :D

The 17ers are really active ;o

If you guys have some time, you should check out TiT #20, it is locked, so you can’t post there. However, it has some really good information, including two Common App essays by yours truly and Karan. It has some fantastic information about financial aid and the college application process in general.

Link on the Post 1, Page 1 of this thread.

Haha. I guess we have. I still feel we’ve got such less time, though. :open_mouth:
Anyway, thanks! :D

Damn awesome! And here we are struggling, alternating between NCERT and gmail :(

^ Well, yes, tbh I’m absolutely dreading being in that position this time next year.

I wish I would have taken the Boards as well :expressionless:
It sounds strange, but it feels like I’m missing out on studying 10 hours a day for 4 weeks :|

Yes, it sounds strange. It’s honest.

@ Tizil7 - Why this kolaveri?? Do you want the stress of Boards??

YESH.
I want that RUSH :D

@Tiz: Why don’t you have school now? o.O (if you don’t mind me asking)

I have a winter break right now. My only exams will start in May :p

@khittee- Why not?!

Watch this, especially those of you counting down to pi day

@Tizil- I hear you! When you study with this impossible target to complete in 10 days, you drive yourself so hard that you totally ENJOY studying like never before
Of course, not happening this time, coz I’m not able to build up the pressure on myself :(

Okay, gonna read the previous page now :P

Okay, so I updated myself and am gonna reply randomly in bits and pieces-
@Khittee- Okay, Game Theory is one thing, but JOHN NASH!! One of the most inspirational people ever! You guys gotta read/watch A Beautiful Mind, if you havent already :D

And, yep I borrowed a copy of it, but havent read it so far :frowning:

@Bist- that is the perfect way to put it! :(

Okay, comp rnning so slow I can barely type. Logging off!

A Beautiful Mind is the best film ever. At 83, John Nash still walks to Princeton for research almost everyday!

A really good movie but a little over the top. Who on the earth runs behind pigeons to make equations on their path lol?

^^His brain walked out on him! Still, he’s one of the most inspiring people ever
Btw, ever read Surely you’re Joking Mr Feynman? Its something you cant put down :D

^I have, and I absolutely loved it! :)
