The dartmouth letters, it seems, are for those who applied wayyyyy earlier.

@shrey- I finished everything just yesterday. Didn’t want it all coming in the middle of my Boards prep! I sent in everything by email, and the major thing was filling up the CSS, which I had completed a month back. Plus, because of Cornell’s early FA deadline, all the documents were ready and that saved time.
What about you?

almost done…procrastinating for places with later deadlines:)

And the wait begins…

It began on 1st January 2012, bro

Exactly.
Began ever since I hit “submit”

When is your first decision guys? Mine is probably 29th march for UCB.

I’m not sure, but according to speculation, MIT will release it’s decisions on Pi Day, i.e. 14th March, 2012.

Otherwise, I guess it’s 29th March for UCB and the Ivies.

Seeing you here after a long time, bist :)

Oh I forgot MIT, but doesn’t matter I just applied for the heck of it. Not getting in lol.

Yeah been busy with board practicals. I screwed my physics viva ■■■.
I got inspired by your rampage of posts tbh lol

@Tizil7,

I have been visiting these forums now and then, I think your posts are consistently the most sensible one. I think you are performing great social service for lots of desis like myself who are not very wise.

MIT on 16th March, I have no hope with my math score, i have applied for the heck of it. That’s the day my boards begin, yayeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeekkkkkkkk.

Best of Luck Tizil7 and the rest of fellow seekers with your boards, JEE, IEEE, CAT, CET and all other “Common” tests.

I am flattered by your appreciation Pluto I think of my contributions not as social service, but rather as an exchange. After all, we all learn from each other. Plus, I’m sure anyone in my position would do the same.

All the best to you Pluto, and everyone else who frequents this thread! :D

MIT traditionally releases its results on Pi Day Hopefully it’ll be the same this year…

And just like others I have applied, even though I will be rejected for sure…

Hi phr34lk! what’s up?
how’s everyone doing?

Where have your friends gotten acceptances from? I’m talking about the Early round, of course. Just some small talk so that we don’t get utterly bored, waiting for our results. If you would like their stats, I could ask for their permission and post them here. So, without further ado:

Georgia Tech (3)
UMass Amherst (2)
Amherst (1)
UIUC (2)
Cornell (1)
MIT (2)
Caltech (1)
Stanford (1)
Drexel (12)

Of course, some of the people overlap. There’s an overlap in MIT and Caltech. Another in Georgia Tech and UIUC. And Drexel has overlaps with Georgia Tech, UIUC and UMass Amherst.

@tizil, could you get the stats of the Stanford admit? I’d really like to know. Thanks :)

@Tizil - woah! those are some amazing stats! But it would be awesome if you could tell about acceptances of your “indian” friends ! :D

For my friends -
Drexel - 1
MSU - 1
Stanford - 13
Florida Tech - 1
Amherst - 1
Stony Brook - 2

Yeah, I was kidding about Stanford :P

@bist: Remove Caltech and MIT from the list and you get acceptances for my ‘Indian’ friends ;)

@idream: I’ll PM you the stats as soon as I can :)

PM me the stats for the Stanford guy too! But only if he applied for aid :D

Bist, you shouldn’t be expecting a PM anytime soon ;)

I need to rob a bank asap for the love of God :(
