Actually Jaipur, you could go to each college’s website and get the emails from there. You can help yourself ;)

one more. i submitted common app before deadline but supplements after it… now it is showing “complete” . Do they will still consider app ?

I submitted my commonapp supplement to Princeton on 29th Jan, they mailed that my application was complete that very day and the Rice Universitie’s adcoms assigned me February 2nd as the last date. So one thing is for sure that universities are way toooooooo lenient with all this application stuff & since commonapp shows that ur application is ‘complete’ u need not worry.

You should probably check by emailing each college, explaining that you were late, and asking whether they will still consider your application. One of my friends sent 2 apps late, but he explained the circumstances to the colleges on the phone, and they agreed to read his application.

got my first acceptance from Purdue
but doesnt matter, it was my safety lol

^^Congratulations! :D

Congratulations Bist :D

Now I think that I should’ve applied to Purdue as well. Ah, hindsight :p

Thanks everyone
The best yeses will be those in March end/ April :D

Congrats Bist

No matter, even if its a safety, its Purdue ;)

Purdue’s a good school Bist! In fact, it’s among the very best in engineering :)

I hope that your momentum of acceptances keeps increasing ;)

My first admissions decision will be UIUC on the 17th of Feb and then the 10th of March for Gtech

Yeah, it’s a good school. But I really want Ivy acceptances! Any one would do
What about y’all?

The more I research about colleges, the more evidence I find that Ivy’s are only good for the name. IMO, engineering at Purdue is comparable to Penn and Columbia, and slightly worse than Cornell. It beats the rest of the ivies hands down.

My Daughter got her acceptance from WPI with Merit scholarship just now!!! She is an international student from India.I feel happy!!!

congratulations iamthebist and manrosh’s daughter!

@tastycles - be very honest; would you attend Purdue or Columbia (Fu) if you are admitted to both?

My Daughter was awarded Presidential Merit scholarship in WPI @$ 29,500 per annum($119,000).A great feeling!!!

BTW she is an international student from India!!!

Congrats manrosh!! WPI is an amazing place, your daughter will enjoy every bit of her life there :)

@iamthebist : not applying for engineering. Or to Fu or Purdue for that matter. I want to do pure science, so physics or chem or comp sci.

Personally, I would pick Purdue over Fu if I knew I was doing engineering 100%. But if there was any scope of changing Columbia is a better option.

Btw congrats manrosh. Is she going to attend?
