@Karan: yeah no legacy works for grad which is just sad, wish it could!
@D&D: Thanks. :\ you’re so not sarcastic.

@tizil1 thanks for the advice. i put up one show in the school,one in ntse camp (bunch of overachieving nerds) and numerous on a street near my school. so i will just put in magician. i hope they don’t make me do tricks when i get there lol :P

hey guys - As someone who has been through both sides of the school, please feel free to direct any questions my way. Though it has been number of years and things have changed since then. If any of the NorthEast 2015 are reading this, hope you are enjoying your first snow fall (something I do NOT miss :))

Oh my lovely darkanddown, miss me already?

And Karan? JACKPOTT! I don’t want to argue with him. Plus, our time zones are substantially different. I’m at school when you guys are on a roll posting one thing after another (did I mention that all the posts are seconds apart?) (:

HAHA WHAT A JOKE. Okay so I sleep at 1:30 every night, if I’m lucky. APWH (World History for those of you who don’t know) demands for an hour to two hours of work each night, as do many of my other classes. School ends at 4:00 and my bus gets to my house at 4:35 (and that’s if I’m not staying back for tennis team or math team or any of that other stuff). And then by the time I get something to each and shower/change, it’s 5:30. I start my homework then, stop in between for dinner (and like 30 minutes of chillin’) and I end up finishing REALLY LATE. I can probably cut down that time by not wasting time on forums like this one (hehe) but a girl’s gotta have some time to live, right? Apparently my teenage years are supposed to be the best years ever. UH, TO WHOEVER SAID THAT, THANK YOU FOR TELLING ME THAT I WILL LIVE A VERY PATHETIC LIFE (: haha, btw, my bus gets to my house in the morning at 6:40. that means i hafto get up at like 5:30… which gives me a max of 4 hours to sleep D: i’m a living robot. call me brobot (: i crack myself up.

Who all has SAT 2 coming up? Got Physics and Math L2. Getting only 790 maximum on my practice tests =/

Math2C,Physics and Literature

@Dreamlord- Me too : Chem and Eng Lit. Lol, i’ve been doing a LOT worse then you on the prac tests. Btw, where are you doing them from?
@D&D- Thanks! :)

YAY i learnt and understood balancing redox reacs from a friend in school today! (Who thought i was dumb because those JEE guys can do them in their sleep :/) Bt whatev.

Random, but i like how the India icon is ALWAYS yellow xD :D

The kentchem site is awesome
I have a question though, HOW do you which product is a solid and which is aqueous? Is it something you just mug up? :/

it is usually mentioned in the equation.

@IRB A solubility chart helps to figure that out.The chart can be found in a class 10th chem book(ICSE one ) or else u can just google it.But as Karan pointed out it is usually mentioned in the equation.

Me too :D

Also, the solubility thing … though you won’t require it much in Subject test, you can look at the type of product … is it ionic? polar? non-polar? covalent? acidic? basic? and that usually gives a good idea of how it exists.

Example… PbCl2 will exist as a solid. HCl usually is aqueous. etc etc.

@Karan, MITboundmeche and Tizil- thanks guys If its given i wont need to worry! and Tizil, that’s a great quickfix xD
Woohoo. Now i just need to keep it all in my head. :O

Somehow that’s the thing I have the most problem with :P

Lol, same. I’m just REALLY scared of silly mistakes. Like i just realized i thought Graham’s law was DIRECTLY not inversely prop to (M1/M2)^2.

I’m doing the practice tests from Kaplan. I have a feeling they’re easier than the standard tests - any truth in that?

Nobody online today?

I think anonymity on cc was a better option lol

Karan, the test is just 4 days away, maybe that’s why. How ironic though, I am still here.
