<p>I know WES is a very big organisation and all. I just don't know how credible colleges feel it is. It says that 60-100 is A. It would be more accurate if it said 75/80 - 100. Thats just how I feel though.</p>

<p>As far as credibility is concerned ,the college to which I'm applying(SUNY-bronx) requires International transcripts to be evaluated from WES(for scores authentication & marks conversion).</p>
<p>Well,the level of science(the coursework) in India is really very high . I mean just look the curriculum of Sat-II Maths.
That probably explains that A grade for a lowly 60 % in India, don't you think so ?</p>
<p>however tough the indian system maybe but 60% is too low for an A/A+.....if that is the case then everyone from india will be getting all A's after conversion without studying for their exams. </p>
<p>If it were like 80+ for an A it would make sense but i personally feel that 60% for an A is a joke (but i wouldnt mind such a grading system....lol). </p>
