I assume career options? Something along those lines.

The CBSE is well-recognised, but it tends to be characterised by its most successful students. Which is really not a benchmark for the efficacy of a school system. (Right. Will not rant, more important tasks beckon!)

I don't have any career plans. And the question's only for international students.

well, CBSE has a very wider variety of things which provides a good base for a WELL-ROUNDED student.......
The difference is in the inforcement of these things......CBSE is VERY reluctant in this field.......if strenghtend, it is far more better than any system......
TheOneCurlyFry:y?wats wrong with ur location??

I use OCW for JEE physics and organic, but it isn't too comprehensive. It's much better to refer to the books they use.
I would say that last year was an exception, let's see how many MIT takes this year.

I don't want to post my locaton. What's wrong with that?

well d'you plan on doing a masters or a PhD, or going directly into employment? You could write about that...

Well...nothing as such........just wondering where u r from.....
I did my IIT coaching in Jaipur......(still doing)
I guess u r from KOTA??

A very-....(COUNT IT TO 365 TIMES) HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!

No, not Kota at all, I do my coaching in the town where I live. And thanks k_twin, that's what I wrote about :). Before I saw your post, though.

After seeing the last couple of posts, I feel really stupid haha. With discussions going on about Harvard and Yale, I'm now too ashamed to tell people that University of Wisconsin-Madison and University Of Illinois-Urbana Champaign are my first choices!

There's nothing wrong with that, dda! (Incidentally, UIUC is actually really good in my intended major, and I would have applied if I'd had the time.)

And I can safely say that I'll likely be rejected almost everywhere. The only thing I have going for me is my 2320 and my decent SAT IIs, and there are people with better scores.

I DON'T HAVE ANYWHERE NEAR A 2320 in my SAT I, I have a 2190, but I have 760, 780 and 800 SAT IIs. And Harvard and Yale are long long long reaches for me, I'm just applying because I can and they use the Common App. I didn't apply to Columbia because they don't use the Common App :). My first choice schools are Colgate, Vassar and Hamilton.

I think I can safely say I'll be rejected in a lot of places, as well. The Ivies, for sure. :<.

My writing section sucked in my SAT I. I have a 1520 / 1600 without it.
