Please please respond. Thank you so much!

Your stats make Brandeis a probable match; might even entitle you to some merit aid; check with the financial office.

Thanks. Anyone else...please???

Oh come on people!!! I have 77 views as of yet, and only two replies...AND ONE OF WAS FROM ME!!! If you're reading this, then I know you have seen my stats. Now I want you...yes you...to get your cursor OFF the Back button...and write a lengthy, insightful, encouraging, and thought-provoking response!

Thank you

Ok, fine I'll let u know wat i think...

I'm just a wanderer from my own college forums looking for possible RD schools, so i'm not sure what exactly is the norm for Brandeis. However, one thing i'd try to improve is my SAT 1 score, it might bring down ur scholarship amounts

Hope that helps!

Um...ok. Thanks arsalan (...i think...) Im laughing right now because Im clueless with this BU thing. no ####! But yea - thanks!

Ok people...246 views as of yet and no replies. First of all...Im very sad. But - I will rise above and be the bigger person here. My application is out. Yay. Now Im recording a CD for their music scholarship. So here's the deal. I will keep you up to date with the Brandeis saga...all the mail I get...when I get it...and the final decision. Lucky you guys. See what a nice person I am? Oh...and by the way...lowest grade on report card was a B for AP Bio (not A-) because I BOMBED a test. Oh well.

BUT PLEASE GUYS IM GOING CRAZY! SAY SOMETHING! ANYTHING! ARSLAN JUST CURSED AND RAMBLED ABOUT ME PAYING HIM OFF FOR B.U. AND I STILL APPRECIATE IT! RESPOND!

i'm another person wandering around that knows nothing about brandeis (except from knowing one person that goes there.. and he doesn't like it at all...) but yeah you have a good chance (i.e. you're almost definitely in). chill out

yeah, i don't know much about brandeis, but i think you'll get in just fine

I'm a freshman at Brandeis now. I think you have a very good chance of being admitted-its a match school for you. I'd have to disagree though about getting merit scholarship. I am a merit scholar and from what I understand, the scholarships are based a lot on high school GPA and SAT scores (Most people have 4.0+ GPAs and 1450+ SATs) Good luck!

And, I got in, ED. See my stats here: http://www.prstats2009/display.php?user=j199199

Brandeis is definitely a match for you.

O.k. kids - its winding down. I got an email saying that they mailed my letter today. Since its Friday... I might find out on Saturday...but most likely Monday. I am losing my mind. Stay tuned.

Good luck!!

and...Im in! The letter is the best...because the first word was Congratulations. I thought I would have to read a paragraph oh crap before they would actually say yes or no. So anyway - New thread! Rooming! The only questions they've asked me so far in regards to rooming preference is:
Do you smoke?
Do you like to stay up past midnight?
Do you study with music on?

and thats it. There is no way thats the onle criteria for my new roommate. Will I be getting more questions later? How does that work? What about the buildings??? So much to figure out!

Oh. And of course - I had to get Brandeis merchandise. But I cant find anything online, other than the Brandeis bookstore. The cutest thing there was Brandeis in Hebrew. But other than that - nothing.

So please respond with the following:
Are more questions on the way?
What dorming things should I request (building...blah)?
Where can I find Brandeis stuff? Im so materialistic!

Good luck for the rest of the applicants!

Congrats!!

You realize this thread is from 2005 and he would have graduated from Brandeis years ago?

I think this may be the oldest zombie on CC! I can’t believe that the redo of the website didn’t provide a way to automatically lock ancient threads like this one. Once a thread has been dormant for a year, it makes no sense to allow additional posts.

I realize that - the congratulations was a joke (well, I am sincerely happy that he got in…) because I realized that he is in his mid 20’s right now.
