The Interview of your Life!

When is your interview scheduled, and when were you contacted by Harvard (if at all yet)?

This thread is for sharing interview dates, so for the information of those who have not been interviewed yet, etc.

I was contacted by an Harvard alumnus a few days later I submitted my application. The interview was at Starbucks, and lasted only 20 minutes :frowning: It was like the alumnus was in a hurry.

didn’t get my interview yet (Cali area) ):

jsungoh, I haven’t either and I’m in Cali too. I’m a little worried though because one of my friends here had hers about two weeks ago…

Today, in 44 minutes at a coffeehouse in my neighborhood. :O

Haven’t been contacted yet. :(

applied in mid-Dec but haven’t been contacted yet

I was contacted yesterday and I’m international. Oh gosh, I am so nervous. Not to be a creep, but I did a web search on the guy and he is SUCH an accomplished man. It’s great, though, because the job he has now is my dream job. We’ll probably have lots to talk about.

Haven’t been contacted yet either.

Don’t worry about the length. There was a guy last year who did two interviews last year. One was 30 minutes, the other 2 hours. He got accepted to the 30 minute one and rejected from the 2 hour one. The 30 minute one was Harvard.

I have it on Thursday. I applied the 31st and received an email a week later.

I had mine on January 11 with an alumnus who just graduated last year. He contacted me literally 2 days after I submitted my CommonApp. It was at a Starbucks and it lasted a little over an hour. He was really nice and it went great, well at at least I think it did :)

Mine was a few days ago. Went very well.

My interview is in 3 days; I just got the call. I submitted my application through mail and am in California, so for any California kids, don’t fret if it’s been awhile.

I am nervous, I have to admit, but extremely excited!

EDIT: Mine is also at a coffee place.

I sent my application on Dec. 30 and haven’t been contacted yet.

Has anyone from the DFW area been contacted yet? This is the interview I’m looking most forward to, but I haven’t received any info. I applied December 24th, so it was quite late. Thanks for any help.

I applied on the day the application was due. I just had my interview today.

WHEN or IF you have an interview has NOTHING to do with how much/little Harvard wants you. Seriously guys, chill. (Disclaimer: not counting 2nd and 3rd interviews…)

Yes! I’m from a suburb north of DFW and I got contacted tonight. My interview is at a downtown law office with a bunch of other people. You should check your email; they sent it out pretty late. Also, I applied at 6 PM on New Year’s Eve.

Does a 2/3rd interview mean they’re more interested? It must mean something since they’re doing it…

How late do interviews go?

@fgsfds

Thanks! I’ll check now.
