<p>My interviewer contacted me today, via email, although she apparently called my house while I was running errands a few days ago, so I missed that. Is that bad? Also, she’s coming to my school to interview me…as in during school hours, so I’m missing class (study hall, so it’s totally fine by me). Has anyone heard of interviewing at school before? I’ve had five other interviews, and they were all at Starbucks or the like. Also, no one else from my school who applied has been contacted (there are three or four other people, I think). She also said that she works with/for the admissions office, and didn’t identify herself as an alumna, which seemed weird.</p>

<p>I’m really excited and everything, but this just seems like it’ll be a lot different from my other interviews, even the Ivy ones…</p>

<p>I suspect there’s a real range in the “caliber” of the interviewer - some of these people (interviewers) are not that far removed from Harvard, while others are big time, e.g. well known law firm partners, doctors, etc. I wonder if the success/accomplishments of the interviewer has any disproportionate positive impact, or adds any greater credibility, to your interview results?</p>
