<p>Hi fellow Rhodes families. I am rejoicing that the last app is completed, this one online, and I feel like running around the block a few times, except that it is raining so hard I'd probably drown. Funny, why do I not recall such a sense of relief when D got her stuff in a few years ago? think it's because she didn't procratinate. How are y'all doing??</p>
<p>Everything is fine here in the sunny South. I nagged my D sufficiently so she got all the Aps done just before Christmas, then we could all enjoy the holiday week. Rhodes was one of her top 4 choices, but she's not hung up on any of them, so she and I have just put it all out of our minds till we hear back from them around April 1.</p>
<p>One of her safeties got back right away with an offer, but there's no need to reply before May 1, so we'll see what comes in from the "good" schools.</p>
<p>oldhoo72, good luck to your D on ALL the apps!! Several days later, and thinking about the need to do taxes to do the fin aid stuff, I am STILL feeling the relief. S didn't do any rolling admissions or EA, so I guess the next heard will be a couple of months away. Like your D, S is not wedded to any place entirely.</p>
<p>Just idly curious, if you don't mind sharing . . . The D likes Rhodes, William & Mary, Davidson & Wake Forest. What's your S looking at?</p>
