The Link Between Missing Financial Aid Documents and Acceptance

I am just curious to know, because we were all speculating on this, whether or not there was any connection between receiving the "Missing Financial Aid" email a few days prior to today and acceptance. So could you please tell me if you got the email whether or not you were accepted.

As for me and my friend we both got the email and were accepted.

I know for a fact that I never sent them my parents’ income tax return and they never even notified me about missing financial aid…

and I’ve yet to get a link or email

I got the emails, yet have not received the email regarding my decision, nor is there a decision on my account.

There is NO connection. I never received that email and I was accepted.

I got it and I have been accepted. However, I don’t think there is any way that there could be a link between the two.

I also never sent an income tax return, I got an email but the page isn’t loading

Dragonkid your situation is inconclusive because you only get the email if you had missing documents, it is more about the people that got the email and their ultimate fate

I did not receive it and was accepted.

This obviously doesn’t help much as I knew I had sent in all my documents.

Guys, there is no link, so there’s really no reason to speculate. The financial aid office and the admissions office are not connected, so the only reason you would receive that e-mail is if you have applied and are missing a financial aid document- it has nothing to do with our office’s decision to admit, defer, or deny you.
