"The MySpace test."

OP WARNING: This is remarkably stupid. Please do not use it in situations that do not involve silliness and/or inebriation.

I've ran this test several times and it has been, as far as I'm concerned, successful.

Essentially, this test will tell you how likely it is that you will encounter someone that acts like an idiot at a given university. The reason I use MySpace and not Facebook is because a student's Facebook is more likely to be groomed to appear professional, and, because the pressure to have a Facebook increases extensively upon entering college, most college MySpace users will represent a more telling part of that university's student body.

1) Add a university to your MySpace.

2) Browse through the students--preferably female--that are in your age group and currently attending.

3) Count the average ratio of students per page with x~MySpAcEy NaMeS~x (alternating caps, excessive unnecessary symbols, needless punctuation, etc.) and compare that to another university.

4) The university with less x~MySpAcEy NaMeS~x names wins.

I found very few of these at Harvard, and even fewer at Caltech. In contrast, low-ranked universities were swarmed with them. Try it yourself!

hahahaha

I may have to create a myspace account for the sole purpose of doing this and find out how my school compares.

At least we have an insane amount of good looking women ;)

EDIT: I should probably add that I'm at University of Arizona.

I think by limiting the sample pool to Myspace users you're selecting against non-idiots.
