Hurray for Eve, OddDad, and congrats and hugs to you both!!

Just to clarify photomom your S got a phone call but OddDad your daughter got a letter. I wonder why they were different.

vivalaben - we got a phone call yesterday and an email with a pdf copy of the letter to follow. I think they made the decisions and are contacting people in all different ways.

My daughter actually received an email and a phone call.

OddDad – why do I think worrying about Point Park’s BA to BFA policy is a thing of the past :)

Congrats to you and Eve!

OddDad, love that our kids were accepted to the same programs…

Exciting - wonderful, Eve (and dad)!

This looks like a great new program!!!

Because of the anomnity that CC allows, I have no idea if you guys already know this and are a part of it, but a New School Drama BFA Facebook group is up!

Hey…to those who got acceptance letters or emails, was there a funky paragraph in it about already having a Bachelors Degree? The 4th paragraph?

photomom – sounds like someone may cribbed the acceptance letter from the masters program and perhaps forget to cleanup all the differences. As a lawyer, I’ve borrowed from another document and done that a few times.

Yup! My son’s high school made me contact them to be sure…and indeed they forgot to cut!!!

ActingDad and photomom—You mean your kids don’t already have an undergraduate degree? :-)

Hi all! My daughter received her acceptanc call from the New School last Wednesday. She is thrilled - she loved her audition and it has been her first choice program from the start.

Can someone tell me the official Facebook group name for the BFA program? She did a search only came up with the overall drama school page.

Congrats to everyone!

Hi mayberry and congratulations! I think this is the link for the kids:
<a href=“New School for Drama BFA Class of 2017!! | Facebook”>New School for Drama BFA Class of 2017!! | Facebook;

Thank you - I’ll pass it on to my daughter.

I saw this school at Unifieds, but we were so scheduled already and overwhelmed. Now that I’m taking a look at their website, I can see that my daughter would have wanted to audition here. It looks great–so professional and smart. Congratulations to all of you and have a great four years in NYC!

I have to say, I have been so frustrated with the lack of communication and mail from other programs but TNS (tired of typing!) phoned, sent an email the next day and his official packet arrived yesterday. It has not been a week since the initial phone call…that is so appreciated and impressive.

I was put on the wait list anyone else?

Ok so the waitlist is much smaller than anticipated so I feel free to go on and ask how was everyone’s financial aid packages for those who got accepted?
