velleity, remember that 0.693 can also be expressed as ln 2.

powerbomb, I’d have to see the chemical reaction

Damn, it’s 8:25 pm. Commence hair ripping…

KBr shouldn’t even be in the final equation. All rxns are net ionic, so if you see something like KOH and HBr, you cancel out K and Br so the final product is H2O.

haha. i feel the same way serafina.

i’ve been told “you’ll do fine” but i somehow, feel the lack of security… does anybody else feel this way? lol.

Can we use the equatoins sheets for MC section?

no we cannot use equation sheet for MC =(

amaster008:

I’m pretty sure if people tell you you’re gonna do fine, you’re gonna do fine. However, in my situation (not sure if I can break a 4 or a 5) I’m pretty damn wigged out.

Look at the AP Bio thread, and how hardcore they’re reviewing! We should aspire to be more like them.

dammit why for the hardest AP test i MUST get a 5 to recieve credit?

lol i’m studying so much, if i don’t get a five and don’t get the credit ill be disappointed.

i’m scoring good on the free response, i’m just scared as hell for the mc. i’ve been doing about 20-30 wrong, inconsistently.

Com’on ap chem folks… lets turn the spirit up and start talking more =)

^ I’m in your situation. Apparently if you get 50 right, and leave 25 blank, you can get a 70%. Maybe you can try that method?

I got 9 wrong and omitted 2, so 62/75. But I can’t really do buffers, so I’ll bomb the acid section of the FRQ. Hopefully it adds up to a 4 at least.

On the MC, just answer every question where you can eliminate two, or where you can eliminate one but “lean” towards another. This assumes time is not a problem.

This exam is going to kill me. I’ll be happy with a 4.

nvm…

why is this thread like dead… compared to like the apush, compsci and bio threads

So does anyone want to predict what type of problems will be on this year’s test? tries to liven up thread

I seriously don’t know - this is one of the hardest exams!

buffers aren’t hard, just use the henderson hasselboch equation.

We have had review packets in school and a final exam that mimics the AP exam and it was all easy. This test should be good.

well, bio is A LOT more intimidating. I was so much more stressed last year with 3 tests including, but I still got all 5s. yeah. this year, though I have twice as many tests, they’re all so must easier.

Good for you, what was the final exam like?

Bio really is more intimidating? I thought it was really easy, and I got a 5 on it. Different strokes for different folks, I guess. Still doesn’t excuse the deadness though.

is there always a lab question on the frq?

There is always a lab question, 5th on the list, usually.

Again, does anyone want to predict the topics on this year’s exam?

screw the other ap folks haha. ap chem’s harder than them all!
I can account-- I’ve taken ap bio (was so easy it was a joke), apush, apcalc…

why do chemistry teachers suck so bad?
