totally shocked? weren't you one of the people who got a likely letter?

I didn't know if it WAS a likely letter though :) I kind of tried to expect the worst so I wouldn't be disappointed, but I'm so happy. I'm looking through the packet now, it's so exciting!

well congratulations!! i hope im as lucky as you. i got locked out of my virtual account and im waiting for the mail today. if its not in todays mail i think i'll call the admissions office again.

I love the little folder they sent us! it really makes me want to go to bmc. im not sure whether i want to find out from the other schools i applied to...

IM IN IM IN IM IN IM IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111

dies

congratulations inspiration08!

i'm so worried because i didn't get ANY financial aid and my parents won't pay for all of it... I REALLY WANNA GO TO BRYN MAWR :(

brillar- Remember me? I'm another Tri-Co crossover. Haha, deferred from Swat ED but accepted to Bryn Mawr RD!

I remember you...YAY!

hey, i remember you too! :)

citrusbelt--it is really pretty easy to get to Bryn Mawr from Philadelphia airport. You can take the train (I forget exactly where you switch trains, but you take the train from the airport and then change somewhere in Phila. to the one that goes to Bryn Mawr) but I rented a car at the airport and it was really easy to drive there. If you go by train, research the route online before you go so you'll know in advance where to switch.

I am directionally challenged, to say the least, so I always rent a car with GPS==it is just a bit more per day for the rental and makes things SOOOO much easier.

Here's a link that will help: http://www.onebigcampus.com/college_profiles/bryn.htm

Thanks, Patient! We are bringing a gps, too (holiday gift from husband-LOL).

D received the big envelope in the mail today and said she should go there because they gave her a button. LOL

Yuppers, I remember you! It's great to see you all again, haha.

Yaxley- same with me, I didn't believe that it was a likely letter. Now I guess we're pretty sure that that is was those were? Let's remember so we can tell the applicants next year so they don't stress out as much as us, hehe.

I put the pin on my bookbag! It's very nice. Sure, some of my friends got bags and t-shirt but this is a nice un-obnoxious way to say that I heart BMC.

I got one of those emails (your application was nice, i loved your essay, etc) but i hadn't thought it was a likely letter. i guess it was :)

lol, wow..even though i got in, reading how all of you got likely emails makes me soo sad hahahaha

I haven't gotten a pin!!! Did it come in a second envelope or in the first acceptance envelope? I'm so jealous, I want a pin!!

Are likely emails for particularly qualified applicants, or only for sports applicants at Bryn Mawr?

I want to go home!! I'm in Aruba, and should be having a blast but now all I want to do is go home and get my mail!

The pin was in the envelope!

Halima, I actually think the "likely emails" were dependent on which admission officer was handling the application. I am neither super qualified (seriously...), nor a sports applicant. I think they were just random, but for those who they knew were accepted. Don't even worry about it now; we're in and that's all that matters :) :)

hmmm, are we all likely to go to bryn mawr? if we are..i wanna get to know some people!!! :D
