When do you think UCLA will release the official date? I’m so over this “Late April” thing.

@ocnative 18th or 25th (very inconclusive :)) )

@ocnative - An educated guess would be April 21st, it’s the first Monday preceding Berkeley’s release date on the 25th. :-)

please be the 18th. the stress of waiting is killing me, i literally cant focus on anything. Id give me something to look forward to next week so i can make it through these pesky exams :l

Not sure we’ll know the decisions by the 18th, but I’m sure we’ll know when the decisions will be released by then.

Where is everyone finding the specifics on the release date, or where it says “late April” just curious… Thanks

@ocnative

No problem! And this is just speculation, but they’ll probably state when they’ll release transfer decisions by next week.

<a href=“UCLA admits more than 16,000 exceptional students for its fall 2013 freshman class | UCLA”>http://newsroom.ucla.edu/portal/ucla/ucla-admits-more-than-16-000-exceptional-245294.aspx

This article was posted on April 18th last year and it stated transfer applicants will receive their decisions on the 26th. Hopefully, UCLA won’t release the decisions that late this year; last year was a unique one for UCLA in that they took a little longer than usual to release the decisions for transfers.

I advise everyone to check Ms. Sun’s livejournal blog in the coming days; she might be the first to notify us as to when UCLA will release these decisions. Also, for obvious reasons, check UCLA’s newsroom website.

I really wish UCLA would tell its transfer applicants exactly when they’d release these decisions much earlier as Berkeley does. I mean, Berkeley told us when exactly they’d release decisions back in January, lol.

UCLA does this every year. :(

So I applied last year and did the summer trick (it worked!) and today when I checked ursa and myUCLA, they somehow had my updated information such as my new address and new phone number and I provided them in this year’s application not last years… could that mean something? And my financial aid said “financial aid document tracking” but it was created 3/28/14 and was complete? lol idk here’s a screen shot: http://■■■■■■■.com/r/2pqrsba/8

I didn’t even think to check ursa since everything says that you’re supposed to use myucla now. I just checked and I don’t have that information available. Weird that it shows up under 2013-2014 though.

@RamonaFalls

Do you have myucla account too? yeah myucla doesn’t even have a section where you can see your major… they changed the layout and it looks so different now compared to last year. I think they are combining ursa and myucla? and there was no 2014-2015 option for me to choose… maybe because I didn’t apply for summer this year? I honestly just logged in out of no where lol

last year UCLA decisions came out on April 19 and Berkeley on April 26th. If you guys are curious that was Friday and Friday

@gopackgo555

Last year, UCLA and Cal released decisions on the same day.

That’s not true at all. Last year, they both came out April 26th.

@wintergreen Yes, I have a myucla account. I’m signed up for a summer session class which I intend to take unless I’m rejected by all the UCs I applied to. I’m aware of the Summer Session trick so I log in every day to see if my registration status, financial aid award letter o my amount due for summer session has changed. So far, nothing has changed.

you are partially correct. The large majority of decisions got pushed to the 26th but there were still a few number of decisions released on the initial date. My roommate and few of my friends here got notified on the 19th while i was on the 26th with most of the people.

Uh…I don’t think decisions will be released the week before the 25th. Most likely that week itself.

@wintergreeen

Nah. I don’t think UCLA is giving us any signs.

I hope they both release on the 25th!

@Zalrons
Double the anxiety? [-X

@Zalrons

I would prefer UCLA not to repeat what they did last year. :)

Sure! Maybe UCSD can release the second batch on the 25th as well!
